My Story
I am the child of an immigrant and a single mother, a dual American-Israeli citizen, and a first-generation college graduate. I was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy at the age of three and lost the ability to walk at the age of eleven. Despite these challenges, I obtained my BBA from Emory University in 2002 on a near full merit scholarship from the Bank of America, my JD from Emory University in 2005 as a Willard DeWitt scholar, and, this May, I graduated with an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School, where I was a John F. Kennedy Fellow with a full merit scholarship.
I have worked internationally as an attorney, a communications specialist, and a policy advisor across the public, private, and social sectors, advising Hollywood producers, including Netflix, governments, ambassadors, politicians, and political campaigns, including, most recently, three presidential candidates in 2020.
I carried the 1996 Paralympic Torch, modeled for Permobil, held the Ms. Wheelchair NC 2014 title, was named one of Israel’s most eligible bachelorettes in 2011, and have been the subject of several documentaries and news articles.
